How to Navigate Behaviors with Love

March 6 | 6:00-8:00 p.m. | Virtual | 2 Credits

Every child in care has experienced trauma. Unprocessed trauma often shows up through
behaviors that range from mild to extreme. Take this, on top of how the child was conditioned
and taught to behave prior to coming into your care and you have several layers of behaviors
and aren’t sure where to start. As foster parents it can be confusing to navigate how to help your child work through behaviors and thrive in your home, and in life. This live, interactive training will cover a variety of behaviors foster parents experience daily with children in care so that you can learn how to show up as the parent you want to be and navigate through every behavior that comes up calmly, while approaching your child from a place of connection, understanding, and love.
