KanCoach is a coaching program that develops and strengthens supervisors in the child welfare system. It supports their capacity and skills, which promotes quality frontline practices and improves outcomes in child welfare.

About Us
KanCoach is one program of Kansas Strong for Children and Families, a federally-funded initiative that aims to support Kansas child welfare as a collaborative, data-driven system that achieves positive outcomes for children’s well-being, safety, and permanency.
KanCoach is administered through Children's Alliance of Kansas. Collaborators include the Kansas Department for Children and Families, Cornerstones of Care, DCCCA, KVC Kansas, Saint Francis Ministries, TFI Family Services, and the University of Kansas School of Social Welfare.

Resilience Alliance: Support for Child Welfare Professionals
Resilience Alliance is a curriculum designed to educate child welfare leaders and workers about Secondary Traumatic Stress and train them in techniques to mitigate and cope with symptoms.
Research shows that up to 50% of child welfare professionals experience high or very high levels of STS. Resilience Alliance offers them tools to help!
Our Goals
To incorporate coaching within the Kansas child welfare system to support and strengthen child welfare practice, to develop competency, and to expand leadership skills and capacity within practitioners.
