Mental Health and Behavioral Health

All children in the child welfare system must have timely access to quality mental and behavioral health services designed to sustain and reunite families. In order to do this, we must work to promote a system that avoids the disruption of services for children returning home from the foster care system.

Oral Health

The Children’s Alliance will join with other agencies in working to find creative ways to make dental services available to the children and families we serve. The critical lack of dentists coupled with the limited number of dentists that will accept Medicaid puts the population of youth in the child welfare system at greater risk.
